Hospice of Midland’s mission is to “Care from the heart to fulfill the unique needs of patients and families” through home hospice, palliative care, and grief counseling. Our goals are: To provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families. To provide emotional and spiritual support to the patient’s family, friends, and other involved persons during and after terminal illness. To educate members of the community on all issues relating to death, loss, grief, and bereavement through training, caregiver support classes, support groups, and community. To provide community-wide bereavement programs which include our outreach program Rays of Hope Children’s Grief Centre.
Hospice of Midland has the most experience and expertise in end-of-life care in our region as it relates to home hospice, palliative care, and grief counseling. We provide our services in your home, in an independent or assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility, or in the hospital.
We provide emotional and spiritual support to the patient’s family, friends, and other involved persons during and after terminal illness.
We offer the most extensive bereavement program of any hospice in the Permian Basin, including individual counseling, a variety of support groups, and a free summer camp for children grieving the loss of someone they love. In addition, services are open to anyone in our community who needs them.
Volunteers are a valuable part of the Care Team at Hospice of Midland. They are a huge part of our home hospice outreach.
Hospice of Midland offers family and peer support through our Rays of Hope Grief Centre. Palliative care and home hospice care is offered in Midland County, Ector County, Glasscock County, Martin County, and Upton County.
